Moulding

Molding involves creating a particular shape or object using a mold that has the desired shape. Molten metal is poured into a mold, then the material solidifies and forms, the mold is removed, and the finished casting is left behind. The molding process has several stages, each of which has its own importance and can affect the final quality and properties of the casting.

For mold production, we utilize chemically cured (self-hardening) mixtures based on alkaline phenols. The mixture preparation is handled by two continuous mixers from OMEGA with different nominal capacities, allowing us to cover a wide range of casting sizes (from 0.5kg up to 440 kg castings) and thus respond to customer demands. For certain types of cores, we employ the COLDBOX machine AVS-6/CB or rely on external core suppliers specializing in such cores.

CONTINUOUS MIXER SPARTAN 303P 2010

  • Nominal capacity of 3 tons/hour.
  • This mixer is primarily used for core production and for prototypes and small-series castings with a casting weight ranging from 0.5 kg to 20 kg (Molding frame size up to max. 450x450 mm).

CONTINUOUS BLENDER SPARTAN 305P 2021

  • Nominal capacity of 5 tons/hour.
  • This mixer is utilized on the main molding line for casting weights exceeding 20 kg. (Molding frame with a maximum size of 1600x1600 mm).

COLDBOX MACHINE - AVS-6/CB

  • Injection cylinder capacity of 6 dm3.
  • Gasification device A12-2, suitable for all commonly used amines.
  • Device for pulsed CO2 dosing.

Core Production

We manufacture cores manually or using the COLD BOX AMIN AVS-6/CB machine. Additionally, we collaborate with external specialized companies that supply us with necessary raw materials and produce cores for us, especially those that are too complex for production on our own equipment.
